RSPB Puffin Ceramic Trinket Dish with Sculpted Bird - 13cm

The best place for little things is sometimes the one you are happy to leave in sight. With a sculpted Puffin standing in the centre of its pale-blue ceramic bowl, this official RSPB trinket dish is somewhere to put down rings, earrings or a small keepsake at the end of the day. The bird is always there to greet you, whether the dish is full or empty.

A Puffin in its summer colours

The figure has the black back, white front, pale face, orange feet and unmistakable bright bill of an Atlantic Puffin. The colours recall the birds seen at breeding colonies on British coasts and islands.

Puffins look quite different out at sea in winter, losing the brightly coloured outer plates of the bill. The little ceramic bird keeps that more familiar summertime appearance in view all year.

Leave the small things in sight

The shallow, open dish puts your everyday pieces within easy reach. A ring beside the bed, earrings removed after work or a keepsake from a holiday can sit around the bird, ready to pick up again.

There is no lid to open or compartment to search: the figure is the focal point, and the space around it is for the belongings you use often. Wipe the ceramic clean as needed.

For a particular coastal memory

Puffins spend much of their lives at sea, making their return to nesting colonies an occasion worth travelling for. This small reminder suits somebody who has a favourite cliff-top viewing spot, remembers their first sighting or is still hoping to see one.

Presented in a box, it is a thoughtful gift that has as much reason to stay out on display as to hold anything inside.
