RSPB Free as a Bird 20L Insulated Cool Bag

A favourite picnic spot is worth getting to, especially when the walk there has birds to watch along the way. This official RSPB Free as a Bird cool bag takes food and drinks along in a 20-litre insulated compartment, with pale-blue bird illustrations and orange webbing straps that look at home among the outdoor kit.

A changing view of British birds

Birds appear all around the blue fabric, some perched and some in flight, with long tails and little flashes of warmer colour breaking up the pattern. The orange handles and edging bring a clear contrast to the softer print.

It is a bag with something to look at while you unpack the picnic, especially for someone who instinctively tries to identify birds from a quick glimpse of their outline.

Space for the picnic, options for the walk

With 20 litres of capacity, the cool bag gives you room to pack food and drinks for an outing. The insulated lining and zipped top make it a practical bag for getting the picnic things from home to the place you want to stop.

Carry it by the two webbing handles or use the adjustable shoulder strap when you need your hands free. The recycled-polyester outer should be wiped clean after use.

Take it where there is something to see

From a short park visit to a whole afternoon following footpaths beside water, a packed lunch makes it easier to stay out and enjoy the surroundings. This is a particularly apt choice for somebody who regards a sudden sighting as a good reason to delay lunch.

Give it to the person who takes binoculars on even the shortest outing, or keep it ready for your own next day out.
