Used for tea or coffee, this 310ml mug brings John Henry Dearle's Blackthorn close to the hand in hawthorn blossom, thorny branches and densely layered flowers.

A hedgerow gathered around the cup

Blackthorn rewards looking into the spaces between its flowers. Pale blossom catches against the darker ground while angular branches thread through tulips, daisies and leaves, giving the mug a richly layered botanical surface.

Blossom and thorn around the cup

Pale blossom and darker branchwork sit close together around the ceramic mug, concentrating Blackthorn's layered hedgerow character into the space of a daily cup.

A darker garden for the daily drink

On the desk or tea table, Blackthorn gives an everyday 310ml mug the feeling of a little piece of hedgerow brought indoors, full of details that reward the hand as much as the eye.
